Childhood Joy

“Childhood Joy” (2023) is 16”x 24” done in oil paints. This painting intends to communicate the bliss associated with innocence, and how, although I am older and about to transition into the next phase of my life, I still carry this happiness with me. I believe we can all experience this innocent bliss to an extent, but we may have to search deep within ourselves to find what makes us, and the children we once were, truly happy.
