Can We Hold Our Peace?

“Can We Hold Our Peace?” (2023) is a 9” x 12” graphite pencil drawing depicting my hands holding a bracelet containing a symbol of peace: the dove. The white poppies on the top bracelet of the left hand and the evil eye gem on the lower bracelet are also symbols of peace. This piece advocates for peace in our current conflicting and chaotic world.
